Winneshiek County coronavirus cases remain at four; 83 new cases Statewide reported Sunday

The Iowa Department of Public Health has been notified Sunday of 83 additional positive cases of Iowans with COVID-19, for a total of 868 positive cases.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says there were 519 new negative cases of coronavirus on Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 9,973 negative COVID-19 test results reported by the State Hygienic Lab and other labs. That means 92 percent of all tests being sent to labs have reported negative for coronavirus.

Allamakee County remains the leader in coronavirus cases in NE Iowa with 18 cases.  The six other Northeast Iowa counties have a total of 14 cases.
