Gas prices have been plummeting due to the coronavirus outbreak

With crude oil prices at $30 per barrel, Americans are seeing pump prices plummet across the country, reports AAA.

The Minnesota-Iowa branch of AAA says some of the largest weekly pump price savings in the country can be found in Iowa and Minnesota.

Meanwhile, Gas Buddy says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in Iowa is $1.67.  Gas Buddy reports regular gas is $1.59 a gallon at Kwik Star in Decorah and $1.64 a gallon at both Casey's stores in Decorah.

But even those are not the lowest prices.  If you could drive to Red Wing, Minnesota--and you really shouldn't during the virus outbreak--you would pay just 99 cents for a gallon of regular gas.
