A story about how the coronavirus outbreak is leading to some scams--even among booksellers

The coronavirus outbreak is leading to some strange situations.

Area author Larry Peterson says he has learned that a copy of the autobiography he wrote, named "Surviving America," is now on sale on Amazon for over $1,000!  The book sells for less than $30 in hard cover most places but someone is trying to get a lot more than that.  Says Peterson, "I imagine it's because of the title!"

Peterson's book is available at Luther College Library and Decorah Public Library--although you'll have to wait until those libraries reopen.
