Driver crashes his truck--the same day he bought it

Decorah Police were called to Highway 9 and Allan Drive around 7:30 Friday night.  17-year-old Michael Huseman of East Dubuque, Illinois was driving on the highway in the city limits while it was a mixture of rain, freezing rain and snow.

Huseman lost control of his 2008 Chevy Silverado truck which he had purchased earlier in the day.  The truck slid through the westbound lane and rolled over in the ditch on the north side of Highway 9, right next to Allan Drive.

Huseman was not injured, but police say his truck was totaled.
