The Answer Person says: "We passed along your question to WMC Chief Administrative Officer Lisa Radtke.  She says WMC has one ventilator, with three other machines in the anesthesia department which can be used in case of emergency needs.  The hospital has a 'special care unit,' which is not the same as an ICU, but could be used.  As mentioned before on decorahnews.com, patients in need of ICU services would need to be transferred to a facility that provides this level of care—probably Mayo Rochester or Gundersen Health System in La Crosse."
