Black Hills Energy is announcing grants to the Decorah Food Pantry and the Clayton County Food Shelf as part of $375,000 in grants throughout its eight-state service area.
Black Hills Energy says it is giving $500 grants to both the Decorah Food Pantry and to the Clayton Food Pantry. The utility, which serves eight states, says the NE Iowa grants are part of $34,000 in grants to agencies within its Iowa service area.
Black Hills Energy president and chief executive officer Linn Evans said, "We have been by our customers' sides throughout all of the challenges over the last 136 years and will continue to do so through this challenge too."
