Decorah Street Department announces new street closings

Street closures on East Water Street and lower Ridge Road in Decorah are being extended for another week--through Friday, April 3rd--to allow the contractor to continue with work.  East Water Street will remain closed between Day Street and Montgomery Street, while Ridge Road will remain closed between College Drive and Meadow Court.

Also on Monday, Mechanic Street between Frances Street and Water Street will be closed from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.. A detour route will be set up on Mill Street during the closure.  City officials are hoping the work on Mechanic Street will be completed in one day.
