Decorah FFA competes in a virtual District Convention

With the coronavirus outbreak leading to bans on large group gatherings, the Decorah FFA recently competed in a virtual edition of the Northeast Iowa FFA District Convention.

18 members participated in seven state contests, with three contest entries receiving gold ratings, three receiving silver ratings, and one receiving a bronze rating.

Receiving a gold rating and named an alternate to state was Ashley Nierling in Chapter Website.
 
Receiving gold ratings were Tyler Irwin in Ag Sales and Karter Einck, Grace Gerleman, Brendan Hunter, Lauren Johnson and Sage Wedmann in Parliamentary Procedure.

Receiving silver ratings were Alex Irwin in FFA Creed, Shayla Smith in Job Interview, and Kyleigh Batterson, Chezny Ryant, Addison Wemark, Justin Nierling, Dalton Zidlicky, Hannah Schnitzler, and Morgan Moen in Conduct of Meetings.

Receiving a bronze rating were Paige Aten and Sheyenne Cornelison in Experience the Action.
