Want to clean the surfaces of your office copier? Here's how

It's good to make sure copiers, printers and other electronic devices in your office are cleaned in order to make sure they're free of germs.  But how to do it without damaging the equipment?

DO NOT spay any liquids directly on the devices—the liquid could get into the machine and cause some of the electronic components to fail—something which would NOT be covered by a service contract. Also, many multi-purpose cleaners could etch the LCD touch panel.

Sanitizing wipes that are labeled as safe for electronics can be used on the plastic surfaces.The touch screens can be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, using a microfiber cloth or other disposable type wipe with isopropyl alcohol.
