The pickups will occur Tuesday afternoon between noon to 4:00 p.m. at Carrie Lee Elementary, John Cline Elementary, Decorah Middle School and Decorah High School. Between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m., students whose last name begins with the letter A through F will be admitted; between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., students whose last name begins with the letter G through L will be admitted; between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., students whose last name begins with the letter M through S will be admitted; and between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., students whose last name begins with the letter T through Z will be admitted.
Pickups will also occur Wednesday morning from 8:00 a.m. to noon at Carrie Lee Elementary, John Cline Elementary, Decorah Middle School and Decorah High School. Between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., students whose last name begins with the letter A through F will be admitted; between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., students whose last name begins with the letter G through L will be admitted; between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., students whose last name begins with the letter M through S will be admitted; between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, students whose last name begins with the letter T through Z will be admitted.
All students and/or families need to check-in at the school's front entrance. A door attendant will be monitoring the number of people in the building, and will grant access as capacity is available. Families are asked to practice recommended social distancing while waiting to enter a building.
People are being asked to retrieve items quickly. New people will be allowed into the building as the same number of people exit the building. Building access will be granted to one student and one accompanying person such as a parent, older sibling or other relative.
