Bid opened on repaving 5.5 miles of County V-64

Mathy Construction from Onalaska, Wisconsin was the only bidder on a project to repave 5.5 miles of Winneshiek County Highway V-64.  Despite that fact, Winneshiek County Engineer Lee Bjerke says he was pleased with Mathy's bid of $1.722 million to do the project.

Mathy's River City Paving subsidiary will be in charge of the project, which will put an asphalt overlay on under six miles of the highway in Jackson and Sumner Townships, northwest of Jackson Junction.
