Vesterheim wins approval for its outdoor campus plan

Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum has gotten final approval for its proposed changes to its outdoor campus.

The Decorah City Council has given its unanimous approval to both an easement agreement and to the overall site plan.

Vesterheim Executive Director Chris Johnson says a tentative groundbreaking date has been picked in May to coincide with a meeting of the Vesterheim Board of Trustees.  The construction timetable calls for the work to be completed by the end of this year.
