Have a Social Security question? Here's what to do during the four-week shutdown

In order to protect older Americans and people with underlying medical conditions during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Decorah Social Security Office and all other local Social Security offices are closed to the public for in-person service.

During the time the Decorah Social Security Office is closed, people with questions should contact the Waterloo Social Security Office at (888) 456-9554.

The Waterloo office is open Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
