(Several decorahnews.com readers have asked about the garage sale in Decorah which included a sign about toilet paper for sale. One reader asked, "I heard that the police were called for people trying to sell toilet paper. Were they charged?):

The Answer Person says: "Decorah Police did respond to complaints about the sign. However, they didn't feel the situation rose to the level of filing criminal charges. After giving the homeowner a warning, police left the scene."
