City of Decorah is closing many facilities to the public in response to the COVID-19 outbreak

The City of Decorah is announcing several steps designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Steps announced Monday include:

--All City of Decorah offices are closed to walk-in traffic
--Non-essential board and committee meetings are suspended
--Public meeting spaces are closed
--Decorah Park-Rec activities have been cancelled

--Decorah Parks are closed, as are all park restrooms
--Pulpit Rock Campground is closed
--The public restroom on Water Street is closed

The City is working in cooperation with and following the direction of Winneshiek County Public Health and the Winneshiek Emergency Preparedness Coalition.
