Luther College announces additional response to the COVID-19 virus

Luther College now has cancelled classes scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. In addition, the college is allowing students to depart campus prior to the end of classes on Tuesday afternoon, when they notify their instructors.

Residence halls at Luther will close by noon Wednesday. Students have been told to take all course materials and personal belongings needed for an extended absence from campus. Students do not need to remove all of their belongings from their rooms. Students may remain on campus if they are an international student, if they live more than 500 miles away from the college, or if moving out would present an extreme hardship, as determined by the college.

Finally, Luther College has recalled participants from the Nottingham program. Students will return to their homes directly upon arrival to the United States.
