A record number of Decorah High School students have been selected for All-State Speech Honors

40 Decorah High School individual speech participants—coached by Gabe Twedt, Carrie Kauffman, and Molly Holkesvik—competed Saturday at an All-State Speech contest in Decorah. Out of Decorah's 44 performances, 37 received I (excellent) ratings. Additionally, 13 students were selected as All-State performances, breaking the record for the number of students nominated.
Although the All-State Festival has been cancelled, all students selected to All-State will receive a medal and recognition.
