Luther College responds to the coronavirus outbreak by holding on-line only classes for two weeks

Luther College will hold classes remotely for the two weeks following Spring Break in response to the coronavirus outbreak worldwide.
Classes on campus end Friday, March 19th, with Spring Break running from Saturday, March 20th through Sunday, March 29th. Starting Monday, March 30th, and running through April 9th, classes will be held through distance learning formats. Courses will resume on campus on Tuesday, April 14th.
From March 30th through April 9th, the campus will remain open to faculty and staff, who will continue with their regular work schedules, as well as to students who have received permission to live on campus during this time. Dining Services and student support services will also remain open, likely in a more limited format.
Campus events with 50 or more anticipated attendees will be cancelled beginning Monday and continuing through at least Monday, April 13th. Visit

All outbound college-sponsored travel will be cancelled beginning Monday and continuing through at least April 12th. Inbound college-sponsored travel during that time will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
