Monona man arrested by Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies for failing to appear in court

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies took a Monona man into custody on Sunday.

26-year-old Jordan Henkels was served a warrant for failure to appear in court on a theft charge. Henkels had been accused of failing to pay for a television and other items from the Decorah WalMart.

Henkels was taken into custody and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail, where he remains in custody, awaiting a court appearance.
