Waukon man arrested on warrant for possession of meth

A Waukon man, 25-year-old Terry Grotegut Junior, was taken into custody by Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies on Thursday afternoon.

Grotegut was wanted on a warrant for charges filed against him in May of 2018, when sheriff's deputies arrested Grotegut for selling 3.5 grams of methamphetamine for $175.

Grotegut is now in custody at the Winneshiek County Jail, awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 30th at the Winneshiek County Courthouse.
