Most Winneshiek County residents will receive a U.S. Census form in March

For the majority of Winneshiek County residents, March should be the month they will receive information in the mail on how to complete their U.S. Census questionnaire. People will have the option of responding online, over the phone, or through the mail.
Completing the census questionnaire is not optional! Participation is required by federal law. If you don't fill out a census questionnaire, a census worker will eventually show up at your door to fill out a questionnaire with you. If you're not home or don't answer, they will come back again. And again. And again.
So when you receive your census instructions in the mail, complete the questionnaire right away. Get it off your plate so you can forget about it!
