Winneshiek County Democrats seek to accommodate those with special needs at Monday night's caucuses

Posted: Wed, Jan 29, 2020 4:04 PM

Going to an Iowa Caucuses is a unique political experience.  Democrats are stressing that it's a process that is open to anyone, including those with special needs such as requiring a translator or someone using sign language.

Such requests should be submitted as soon as possible at https://iowademocrats.org/request-accommodation-2020-caucus/.  Anyone who needs assistance in completing the form can e-mail access@iowademocrats.org, make a voice phone call to (515) 244-7292, send a text message to (515) 329-4562 or send a sign language request by e-mail

Winneshiek County Democratic Party caucus sites can be found at www.demswinn.org or at www.iwillvote.com. Registration to vote or to change party affiliation is available at all caucus sites. Doors will open at Winneshiek County Democratic Party caucus sites at 6:00 p.m. and the caucuses will start promptly at 7:00 p.m., with everyone needing to be in line to register before 7:00 p.m. so early arrival is recommended.
