Applications are now being accepted for the 10th annual Adam Bohr scholarship

The family of Adam J Bohr and McClure Engineering Company have announced scholarship applications are available for Decorah High School seniors who plan to attend college to pursue a career in the field of engineering.
This scholarship is given in memory of Bohr, who graduated in 1993 from Decorah High School. Bohr received his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Iowa State and was regional manager of McClure Engineering Company in North Liberty, Iowa. He died on December 1st, 2010.
Applications for this scholarship are available at the Decorah High School guidance office. The scholarship amount is $4,000 payable over two years.
The scholarship will be awarded based on scholastic standing, community involvement, extracurricular activities, and a short essay on why the individual wants to study engineering.
All applications are due by April 17th. The selection committee consists of members of Adam's family and McClure Engineering Company.
