Decorah visit by Democratic Presidential candidate Tom Steyer CANCELLED

The campaign of Democratic Presidential candidate Tom Steyer has announced Steyer's campaign appearance in Decorah at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1st, at Impact Coffee on Water Street has been cancelled.

Steyer is a hedge fund manager and political activist.  In 2008, he switched from backing Hillary Clinton to becoming one of Barack Obama's most prolific fundraisers.  In 2017, Steyer spent approximately $10 million for a television ad campaign advocating the impeachment of President Donald Trump.  In 2019, Steyer announced he would be running in the Democratic primaries and made a commitment to spending $100 million in the race.
