Registration is open for Norwegian folk art classes at Vesterheim in 2020

The public can now register for 2020 Norwegian folk art classes at vesterheim.org.

Classes include painting and rosemaling, fiber arts, woodworking, knifemaking, metalworking, Nordic cooking, jewelry making and Norwegian language. There are also special workshops and programs for youth and families. Instructors come from all over the country, and two teachers are coming this year from Norway.

Vesterheim offers a 50 percent off discount for class tuition on a space-available, stand-by basis to any year-round resident of Winneshiek County and to any full-time Luther College student. Stand-by students will be notified about availability of class openings one week before the starting date of the class.
