Ossian resident ticketed following weekend accident

An Ossian resident has been ticketed for failure to have car insurance following a weekend traffic accident.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Shea Headington lost control on County Roads W-46 and W-42 in Frankville Township shortly before 10:30 Saturday night.  Headington went into the ditch and struck a road sign.  No ambulance transport was needed. The vehicle suffered an estimated $2,750 in damages.
