Toys Go 'Round asks for $2,000 from Winneshiek County

The Toys Go 'Round Toy Lending Library has been in a new location in Decorah for the last six months, and TGR board member Kathy Barloon says everyone loves the space in the former Sims TV & Electronics building.

But Barloon and fellow TGR Board member Judy Mowery told Winneshiek County Supervisors on Monday that while their new facility is in a "wonderful space" in a "good location," the group still has to watch its budget and relies on the work of many volunteers.

That's why TGR has submitted a funding request to the county board for $2,000 in county funding.  Winneshiek County Supervisors will take the request into consideration when preparing a 2020-2021 county budget later this year.
