California Congresswoman will visit Saturday to campaign for Elizabeth Warren

Democratic Presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren will NOT be coming to Decorah on Saturday--but a fellow member of Congress will visit on Warren's behalf.

U.S. Representative Katie Porter was born in Fort Dodge, then was Warren's student at Harvard in 2000.  She was elected to Congress last year from a district in California including Orange County which had never elected a Democrat to Congress before.

Porter is scheduled to be in Decorah Saturday morning to kick off a canvass of voters on behalf of Warren.  The location for her appearance has not yet been determined.  Updates will be provided to decorahnews.com
