Decorah High School's partnership with Gemini, Inc. in Decorah has led to equipment donations by Gemini, plant tours, an engineering-focused internship program and several donations.

The Decorah Viking robotics team continues to grow with each school year and now has nearly 30 participants. A recent $10,000 donation to the robotics team from Gemini will help the team purchase equipment and supplies as well as fund travel to competitions.

Gemini Human Resources Manager Lindsey Moellers says, "When the business community and local schools partner to provide the best educational experience possible, everyone wins—the students, the schools, and the businesses where the students will be employed in the future."

All full-time Gemini employees have the opportunity to donate $250 to any charitable cause they like. These donations resulted in an additional $5,500 being donated to the Decorah area schools this year.

Gemini also funds the Ross Wagner Scholarship to a Decorah High School senior.  The $100,000 scholarship is given to engineering students in the communities where Gemini has manufacturing plants. Decorah high school student Beirgen Gunhus-Dansdill was a recipient of the award in 2019.
