More details released of arrest of Decorah man on drunk driving charges

Decorah Police have released their report of the arrest of 49-year-old Martin Pena of Decorah on Christmas Eve Day, with additional details not previously mentioned in the Sheriff's Office's report.

Decorah Police say Pena was traveling west on West Broadway around 2:15 the morning of December 24th when his truck crossed the center line and struck a parked car.  The accident did a total of $12,000 in damages.

Decorah Police say two charges have now been filed against Pena, with a charge of striking an unattended vehicle being added to the original charge of Second Offense Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated.
