Snowmobile owners are being reminded to renew their licenses by Tuesday

The Winneshiek County Recorders Office is reminding snowmobile owners they must renew their registrations before January 1st.

Snowmobile registrations purchased during 2019 will expire on Tuesday, December 31st.  Any decal displayed on a machine with a "19" printed on it will no longer be valid for machines used on snowmobile trails.

Furthermore, any snowmobile registration that is not renewed by next Tuesday will have a late penalty of $5.00 applied to the registration cost.
