The end of an era for The Fish Garden

The Fish Garden, Decorah's long-time pet shop on Sanford Street, closed its doors for good on Friday afternoon.

Mary Smith opened The Fish Garden in 1991 and says she enjoyed every single day of her store's 28 year run. "I want to say a big 'Thank you' to everyone who walked through my doors over the years. I loved being able to serve multiple generations of customers."
