Rosemaling artist Betty Dowe creates a rosemaling coloring book

Betty and Don Dowe lived in Decorah for 20 years. Their four children--Deb, Marsha, Don Jr. and Greg--graduated from Decorah High School;  Deb and Marsha graduated from Luther College; and Betty and Don retired to Harmony.  Now the former Decorah resident has published a coloring book called "Strokes of Love Rosemaling Coloring Book and Much More."

The book has 36 pages of rosemaling patterns to color, as well as colored pictures of rosemaled art, sample rosemaling patterns and a history of rosemaling. The book has perforated pages so the pages can be removed and framed. The book is $17.50 plus shipping and handling of $2.50.
