33-year-old Jacob Pambin of Decorah has filed a written plea of not guilty to two charges of vehicular homicide.
Pambin faces the charges in connection with an August 4th traffic accident which took the life of his passenger, Trenton Litke. The Iowa State Patrol says Pambin deliberately began fishtailing his vehicle and could not keep it under control because he was intoxicated. The vehicle crashed into a metal culvert, killing Kitke.
Story County District Court Judge Bethany Currie has scheduled a pretrial conference for 1:00 p.m. January 21st and a jury trial for 9:00 a.m. January 28th at the Story County Courthouse in Nevada.
