Rollover claims the life of a Calmar woman

On Monday at 5:59 p.m., 32-year-old Cristina Jimenez of Calmar was traveling on 175th Street near the intersection of 227th Avenue just north of Calmar. Jimenez lost control, entered the east ditch and rolled her 1997 Ford Explorer. Jimenez sustained fatal injuries.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol, the Calmar Fire Department, and the Winneshiek County Ambulance Service and first responders.
