Federal charges have been filed against Allamakee County resident William Harrison in connection with threatening phone calls to Winneshiek Medical Center

Additional federal charges will be filed against 58-year-old William Harrison, Junior of rural Allamakee County for making a threatening phone call to Winneshiek Medical Center last November.

Earlier this month, Harrison entered an Alford guilty plea under which he agreed to be sentenced on a charge of second degree harassment, without admitting guilt, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail.

On December 6th, Harrison was transferred from the Winneshiek County Jail to a federal prison.  He will remain in federal custody while he faces those additional charges.
