Thrivent fundraiser brings in over $5,000 in donated goods

Results have been announced from last month's "Generosity on Tap" event organized by Thrivent Financial.

Thrivent says the event at Pulpit Rock Brewery in Decorah brought in an estimated $5,000 of goods that will support those in need in the area.

Items collected during the event included peanut butter, diapers, soaps, hats & mittens, socks, and nonperishable food items.

The event was led by the Tri Rivers Associates Thrivent Community, which has offices in Decorah, Dubuque and Hiawatha.
