Decorah man crashes his car in Fayette County

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office is reporting on a Monday afternoon traffic accident that involved a Decorah resident.

22-year-old Aaron Shaber-Twedt of Decorah was driving north on Fayette County V-68 around 12:30 Monday afternoon when he lost control of his car due to weather conditions.  The car went into the ditch and rolled onto its top before coming to rest.

Shaber-Twedt was not injured, but the vehicle is believed to be a total loss.

The accident remains under investigation.
