With so many students, teachers and staff members being part of the Decorah Community School District, there's a lot of information to keep track of. Now the school district will have two new software modules to make it easier to keep on track of that information.
Frontline Education provides on-line systems for "human capital management." The new software will help Decorah School District officials to manage employee absences and to handle substitute identification and placement. The second software module will allow school district officials to keep track of staff and student time and attendance information.
The first-year implementation and licensing of the software programming will cost the Decorah School district $27,323. Annual licensing after the first year will cost $13,523.
Decorah School Board members liked the idea and gave it their unanimous approval.
