Decorah High School food drive raises over $1,000 in donations

The Decorah FFA and Decorah High School Community Club's annual food drive at Decorah High School has raised over $1,000 for the Decorah Community Food Pantry, which has recently completed its move to 110 Railroad Street in Decorah.

9.5 percent of all Winneshiek County residents suffer from food insecurity, with the figure jumping to 13.8 percent of all children in the county.  "It was amazing to see all the generous donations coming in," commented FFA food drive committee chairperson Brooke Courtney.
