Local Daughters of the American Revolution send Christmas care packages overseas

Members of the Hannah Lee Chapter of the National Society Daughters of American Revolution are sending Christmas stockings to active duty and retired veterans.

The stockings have been filled with snacks, toiletries, games, decorations and thank you notes. 12 boxes of stockings have been mailed, so they will arrive before Christmas. Throughout the coming year Hannah Lee Chapter will continue to send monthly care packages to this unit as they have done for others in the past.
