Winneshiek Energy District is the subject of a profile by a national news source

The Energy News Network is profiling the Energy District movement in Iowa, which started in Winneshiek County.

Reporter Karen Uhlenhuth writes, "In the 10 years since the founding of the Winneshiek Energy District in Decorah, energy districts have become a movement in Iowa. The vision, the scale and the resources have grown substantially."
