Former Vice President Joe Biden will visit Decorah the first week in December

Former vice president Joe Biden will campaign in Iowa starting November 30th--and will visit Decorah as part of that tour.

Biden is planning an eight-day, 18-county "No Malarkey" bus tour of the state that begins November 30th in western Iowa. According to the Cedar Rapids Gazette, the tour will make stops in Mason City, Decorah, Elkader, Oelwein, Waterloo and Cedar Rapids.

The announcement comes as Biden has slipped to fourth place in some polls in Iowa. In addition to the bus tour of 18 Iowa towns, the Biden campaign is planning a $1.6 million advertising blitz in Iowa during December, January and February, according to Advertising Analytics.

No details of Biden's visit to Decorah have been released yet, but it will be during the first week in December.
