No move is planned for Decorah's Social Security Office

It appears the Decorah Social Security Administration Office will not be moving to a new location in the near future.

The move was announced at Monday night's Decorah City Council meeting, along with news that the Social Security Administration has cancelled plans to turn the local SSA office into a kiosk only, with no staff members on site.

But Social Security Administration spokesperson Linda David tells decorahnews.com no such move is being planned.  Davis says the office will remain in its current location.
