The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce and Decorah retailers will be holding a food pantry drive

Starting Monday, the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce will be a collection site for a Chamber member campaign to raise awareness and goods for the local food pantries. The campaign is called "Drift Less. Give More."

For every five items or $5 dropped off at the Decorah Area Chamber offices between November 18th and 27th, the donor will receive a 5 percent off coupon to be used at participating local retailers. Coupons will be able to be combined for as much as 20 percent off select items at local businesses! Discount items and total coupon percentage will be at the discretion of each individual business, so make sure to ask when you are out shopping locally this season. Coupons will be valid throughout the holiday season.

People who wish to participate with donations can drop off items at the Decorah Area Chamber offices (507 West Water Street, Decorah) starting Monday and running through November 27th.

A list of preferred donation items for the food pantries will be updated on the Chamber website, www.decorahareachamber.com.
