Decorah High School's production of "Tuck Everlasting" will be performed four times this weekend at the Decorah HS Auditorium.
Based on the best-selling children's classic by Natalie Babbitt and adapted for the stage by Claudia Shear and Tim Federle, the musical features a soaring score and book from Claudia Shear, Chris Miller, Nathan Tysen, and Tim Federle. Performances are intended for audiences of all ages.
The show will be presented Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., with a 1:30 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday, as well as at the high school office Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Remaining tickets will be available an hour before each show.
The production staff includes producer/technical director Thomas Houdek, vocal director/conductor Jason Rausch, stage director/costumer Kristen Underwood, and choreographer/assistant director Karen Trewin along with Mary Herman managing the box office.
