20 accidents in Winneshiek County during this week's snowstorms

The first snowstorm of the season kept Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies very busy on Wednesday.

The Sheriff's Office reports that they responded to 20 motor vehicle accidents and vehicles in the ditch because of the weather and road conditions.

One accident in Ridgeway involved three vehicles and resulted in minor injuries. The remaining accidents were vehicle and property damage only.

A reminder, as always, to slow down and adjust to winter driving conditions.
