"Little Free Craft Closet" is opening at ArtHaus

ArtHaus and Green Iowa Americorps have teamed up to create a new resource called the "Little Free Craft Closet."

The purpose of this new space is to reduce the waste from supplies that would otherwise be trashed, and to encourage creativity with an accessible, no-cost outlet. It acts as a convenient way to get rid of unwanted supplies while giving back to the community and minimizing unnecessary waste.

Green Iowa Americorps volunteers worked to renovate a small space at the new ArtHaus offices. The Little Free Craft Closet allows anyone to drop by and donate old craft supplies, or pick them up, free of charge.

The Craft Closet is located at 107 West Broadway Street in Decorah and is open all hours.
