John Cline Elementary School students Tuesday participated in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities.
The day included a Science Roadshow by Collins Aerospace employees, then after school included a STEAM family night attended by over 320 people. It included technology challenges, science experiments, a planetarium show, free building, fun snacks, art, math and music.
The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and Decorah Fire Department brought their K9 McCoy and the drone. Many organizations collaborated and supported this event, including the Decorah PTO, the Luther College Women's Basketball Team, Collins Aerospace, Crave Dance Studio, Decorah Bank and Trust, Keystone AEA, Winneshiek County Conservation, Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office, and the Decorah Fire Department.
