Spectrum Network's kitchen is trying to gear up

The Spectrum Network is looking for more community partnerships for the use of its new kitchen.
The Spectrum Network Kitchen was built with federal grants funds and other money to give opportunities to the roughly 85 clients served by the non-profit organization. For instance, on Wednesdays, several Spectrum workers come to the kitchen to package food for sale at the Oneota Community Co-op.
Interim Director Mike Meirick says The Spectrum Network has set a goal of producing 3,000 meals each month by early in 2021. He says the talents of special needs clients will be utilized as much as possible.
The Spectrum Network Kitchen held an open house Thursday evening for members of the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce.
